Yeah I get what ya mean. I don’t always make them that way, but it has been the running theme as of late. I’m going through and catifying all of the mane six, or at least I plan to, and then these won’t be as common.

Well yeah, I was talking about the cartoon ponies in the show, they do act like humans most of the time, and like real ponies a lot of the time but they never act like cats, like this. I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, but this guy draws a lot of it, even the way he draws ponies they look really catlike (really small, tiny hooves that look more like paws a lot of the time which there’s a good example of in the first panel, more cat shaped heads and sometimes muzzles and posture/body language that’s way more feline than equine). So, since it’s kind of like his style and a running theme in his work I’m just wondering why he doesn’t just draw straight up cat versions of the ponies instead of things that are supposed to be show ponies that always look and act like cats instead for some reason, it just seems like it would make more sense (and it would still be cute). But I guess that’s just his thing.

Well, ponies don’t act much like humans either and MLPs do. So sure, they can be kitties at snuggle time. (Especially for Dash; she and cats can both be kinda tsundere. I love the idea that if you knew just where to scratch her it’d be like “Pfft! I don’t go in for all that sappy snuggly crap, I’m too… awesome… and… mmmmmmmmmmm.”)

Maybe they think ponies are cuter than cats? Idk. I personally do, even real ones. Although I did have a cat once that was heart stopping adorable. But to be honest a lot of cats can be jerks

This guys art is good and all, and it’s cute, but I don’t get why he doesn’t just draw anthro cats or species swapped ponies or something. Since they are ponies, and ponies act nothing like this.
