If Luna’s mind wasn’t warped by the magic, that means that everything she did as Nightmare Moon was willing, including attempting to kill all life on Equestria with an eternal night.

And then, even better, the Elements of Harmony ‘fixed’ her. So the EoH lobotomized a willfully evil entity, making her act good again. The Elements of Lobotomy save the world again!
