They have electricity, EKG’s in hospitals, movies (on film at least). Clunky, low-tech CRT televisions don’t seem to far out to me.
Obviously their culture just doesn’t revolve around TV like ours, which is why I wouldn’t want to see too many televisions in Equestria. But I’m not against seeing some in a public building like a hospital from time to time.
I forget its name but in the episode where twilight and cadance are trying do shit but get interrupted by discord, who, during his song, flashes to a scene in an airport with at least 1 CRT
I guess it’s one of the things that the show staff ignores because I swear they’ve said they don’t want TVs in the show.
Not a mistake, Hasbro actually specified how the TVs should look in the RD micro. I could dig up the interview… but I’m lazy.
I imagine the TV in this issue is up to their standards as well.
