But how is doing a half assed job at redoing the conclusion going to solve anything? Nobody blabbing here has the art skills of Price to do that, and nobody is going to chalk up the hundreds of dollars it’s going to take to get an artist to do it for you.
 
I’m sure we could imagine a better conclusion or story if a couple scenes were to be changed, but the fact remains that this is what the team felt was good enough to publish. This is the story that we got, and it’ll be considered part of the official canon of the universe. For such a story, that’s a bit much.
 
I personally like debating people and hearing their interpretations and opinions about the show and comics, as long as it doesn’t devolve into flaming. It’s just one of the ways I appreciate and enjoy the piece, whether the piece itself is good or bad.

You make it sound like being a member of that club makes your criticisms any less valid. It doesn’t. But you’ve misread me. I’m not saying complain about EVERYTHING, just the things that are worthy of criticism, for example, sloppy scripts and plots. And even when I complain about Cook’s writing, I’m not complaining about all of it, because there are parts that she does great. I only criticize the parts that are bad. And it’s not exactly easy to do criticism well either. It’s not just saying “Cook sucks”, you’ve got to back up what you say with arguments, and that takes practice to do and not just come off like a irrational hater. You consume enough of this media and you get a feel for what makes a story work and what doesn’t.

I’m not talking about anything drastic, just a quick fic/comic that gives a more satisfying conclusion. If it’s that big a deal to everyone, wouldn’t that be more satisfying then complaining about it here, which is going to change nothing about this by the way?

That shit’s hard to do. It’s much easier to complain, and more satisfying anyways when one reads a comic like this that has some good points and could have been great, but also, due to narrative sloppiness or forgetfulness, has some terrible stinking plotholes. You invest your time and emotion reading these comics, but then to have it frustrated by bullshit like this is infuriating, and that needs to be vented out with other like-minded readers who feel the same.

I say ocs cause they’re the comic writer’s Original characters not owned by Hasbro.  
Meaning its trickier for them to be on the show canon.
 
If they were put on the show, they have to have legal rights in the credits, and other things.
 
Ken Penders, Formerly from the Archie Sonic comics may have screwed that up for the whole industry when he claimed ownership for several popular characters he made (And didn’t make).  
Some were kinda important to the Sega character’s story arcs, but thats another story.

They mean characters writers like Cook create just for the comic. Hers (when they’re on the good side) have a very large tendency to have most of the focus on them and force the m6 into a more background role.
 
Good Sombra’s probably the worst example of this to the point where the M6 really didn’t contribute much at all.

What’s with the term “OC” I keep seeing? New characters in the comics are dubbed OCs but technically, every single character in the show is someone’s OC, mostly Faust’s.
 
Unless it’s being used to designate bad characters which means it’s another term being ruined. Kinda like illegal aliens being used to designate illegal immigrants. It’s just people acting like little brats.

I dont really mind if her characters are wrong or right at this point.
 
Anyone else notices how the later comic are becoming Writer Ocs: The Comic with the mane 6 as supporting characters?
 
I mean, i would like to see some of the background characters on the show get a comic instead of the probably oneshot comic characters that will most likely never be mentioned, let alone on the show.
