People have shipped more for less, and in this continuity, the alternate Sunset’s Flash died somewhat shortly after their kid was born, which may mean the issues that would later lead to divorce wouldn’t have risen to prominence yet. Plus, in the current situation, main-Flash isn’t romantically involved with Sunset. Which in itself is quite interesting, since it must be harrowing to practically see your dead husband every day and he’s not going to be with you, instead having gone with your sorta-rival.

I don’t really see the Flashimmer relationship working out that well. They have so little in common, Sunset never lik-liked Flash, and don’t forget that human Flash broke up with Sunset in the first EG movie.

Huh, imagine finding out you have a cross-universe daughter and wife. Would it be like meeting a child you accidentally had thanks to a pre-marital fling? I’m sure Flash, at least, wouldn’t hesitate to take them both in.

Nah, this Flash is only married to Twilight. There is no romantic relationship between him and Sunset. Her daughter there is the offspring of human Flash, who died in a car accident. So goes the story.
