In the end the world is a crpasack where toad is the main evil force behind of every event.
Who was force to do so by Toad (Yoshi owes him a lot of money), who threaten to bust E Gadd’s kneecaps and buried him six feet under.
And the person who crafted such beast was no one other than Professor E. Gadd
Unbeknownst to Yoshi, the Duck was a cybernetic robot program with the intention to assassinate the green Dino.
Who, turns out to be involved with drugs as a way to pay for a life saving surgery on poor old Duck Hunt Dog.

And cream gets her stock buying it from Alexx Kidd.
Turns out Dr. Mario was Bayonetta in disguise alongside Jeanne, who was wearing a nurse outfit, to further continue the “punishment”. Yes, Toad is an unforgiving bastard.
Meanwhile, Mario briefly left the studio to buy his “totally-not-illegal” shrooms from his dealer.
