I remember back before her eye-color was revealed officially, (in the Season 2 finale) some argued what color her eyes were, and βredβ was usually the more fanon-accepted eye-color for her. Β
I think I prefer the canon βmagentaβ-colored eyes though, βcause it was more unexpected, and kinda contrasts with the βcolderβ blue color of her hair/tail. Also kinda matches her sunglasses to.
You know, early on in the fandom, Iβve witnessed some Bronies who actually believed she was blind!
