Lol! That works. (Well, if you wanna nitpick they’d still have to be older than just a thousand years ‘cause a thousand years ago they were kicking flank and taking names. But they can’t seem to make a seal on a bad guy last more than a thousand years. Anyway, make it 2-3000 years old.)
Okay, that’s it, people always say “oya Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are super powerful alicorn goddess ponies who were around since the beginning of time!” but I don’t believe that anymore. I’m now headcanoning that Tia and Luna are just simple one thousand year old princess ponies. Applejack is the for reals all powerful goddess pony! She just promoted Tia and Luna to alicorn princess a thousand years ago, because, their wings are pretty,and they like to uh fly to the castle. Yah. That’s it.
She wouldn’t want to be treated like a goddess. If she did create the universe, she’d just smile to herself whenever anyone admired the pretty scenery, and keep humbly going about her farm chores, maybe change identities every 80 years or so. Naturally her apples are the best ’cause she invented apples…
Nah, she’s too humble to accept any of the credit for creating the universe.
There’s an awesome fanfic called Appletheosis about Applejack ascending and adjusting to her new roles (as a nature goddess in the main fic and as Equestrian royalty in one of the sequels.) Also goes into how Tia and Lulu ascended as well, and is at least in my top five favorite versions of their history.

That’s actually something I’ve seen in a lot of fanfics. You know, being incarnations of the elements of harmony, forces of nature in their own right.
What I was saying in that old headcanon of mine was that Applejack knew she was a goddess but never mentioned it.
What if all the mane 6 were actualyl goddesses, but have incarnated themselves without knowledge of who they are t live a normal life?
