Considering you are replying to me for some reason when I wasn’t even talking to you, likely a reason no different then what you were doing months before(i.e. starting a fight to get into a debate), that’s completely hypocritical of you.

And unlike you, I won’t take debates so far to the point where I would use your insane ‘as long as the assistant/slave does not complain about his conditions, why change them?’ When you used that, I threw up my hands and washed them of your drivel.

I was just expressing my opinion. Why do you have a problem with that?

It depends greatly if she has gone through some proper development by then. If the plot tries to force her or she tries to force herself into the spotlight, then its going to make the script a bloody mess. Nobody wants Twilight to be forced into being the focus anymore, least of all in Human Twilight’s own introduction movie. If anything, Twilight should be there to gain some perspective from her (supposedly) independent alternate.

Also, if two Twilight’s are going to be there, there is no pretense for the Mane 5 on our side to not join, since it was revealed Celestia lied in the first movie. (without addressing it of course, Celestia IS hasbro’s mouthpiece afterall)

Tyrant refers to EG Sunset before this movie, not Twilight. Tool refers to Twilight, which she simply is. Her life revolves around pleasing Celestia, there is no getting around that. Unless were talking about IDW Twilight, who actually got that character development and is a far more relatable character.

I was making an example of how two incredibly talented individuals both being put on a pedestal by the leader of the entire land coped in two very different but both negative ways.

Sunset never questioned her own reasons for doing things when she became a young bully and tyrant.

Twilight never questions her own reason for doing things because as long as its for Celestia’s praise, that’s enough for her.

(raises eyebrow)

Doesn’t ‘an instant’ imply that it doesn’t happen repeatedly?

And not cruel, obviously, just moral blank spots. I believe I explained that earlier in numerous examples. Keep in mind that no matter how much she supposedly learns about friendship, her relationship in how she treats Spike or prioritizes Celestia’s word, never changes.

Although, I guess when your mentor makes sure your life is absolutely perfect, you have no reason to question anything you do. Food for thought.

As Sunset pointed out, there is only so much a talented person can do when they’re put to such high expectations. Both a tyrant and a tool have one big thing in common…they never question what they do.

You DO know what credibility is….right?

You only attempted to counter a fraction of my arguments, and I just used one of the many things you said to discredit yourself.

In other words, I’m not going to waste my breath on someone who defends a character so blindly. Its a waste of my time and yours.

“If Spike himself doesn’t see anything wrong with helping Twilight around the library, why should she?”

Not trying to lend yourself any credibility are ya? :/

“While she has a friendly personality, in the end she cares a lot more about her studies and Celestia then her friends or lives. In Crystal Empire and Twilight’s Kingdom, it shows how little she prioritizes lives over homework.”

In the end, she let Spike and Cadence save the Crystal Empire, knowing that she can’t do this on her own. Also, where exactly in Twilight’s Kingdom did Twilight prioritized her studies more than her friends?

“Rainbow Rocks showed that even she could be an arguable villain again when she intentionally doesn’t ask Sunset’s help writing the counterspell even though she knows she can’t do it alone. Why? Cause Celestia chose her to be the princess of friendship.”

Or maybe it’s because now that she has a title to withhold, she believes that responsibility is hers and hers alone. She is a princess, after all, and being a princess means that she needs to lead her people through the perils. She didn’t think of asking Sunset for help, because, again, she believed that this was something she should do herself.

“From the first time we saw Twilight mock RD’s dream when the two just met, we knew she was kind of a jerkass to people she feels she doesn’t need to care about.”

This was her pre-character development. There is a difference between a character who has undergone four seasons of character development, and a character in the beginning of a series in need of one. And even though she lapses back to that characterization every now and then like in “Feeling Pinkie Keen” and “Lesson Zero”, just remember that actual people trying to change for the better will occasionally relapse back to their old ways in the process.

“And even after so long, she still treats Spike like a servant about half the time because no one ever told her she was acting wrong.”

Spike prides himself in being Twilight’s #1 assistant, and even felt threatened when he felt that Twilight was replacing him with Owloysius in “Owl’s Well That Ends Well”. His biggest fear as shown in “The Crystal Empire” was Twilight sending him away. If Spike himself doesn’t see anything wrong with helping Twilight around the library, why should she?

“She is not intentionally mean spirited, she just doesn’t have naturally heroic qualities yet Celestia constantly tries to put her on a pedestal.”

Right, like saving the town from an Ursa Minor, trying to prevent a future disaster from happening due to her future self not getting the full message out, and helping Spike out of a bad situation aren’t signs of Twilight having some heroic qualities.

“Only on rare occasions is Twilight, especially S4 Twilight, allowed to receive anything but praise. Most of the time it was Discord giving scorn, or testing her lack of morals by having her go back in the forest for all the wrong reasons.”

The reason why Twilight left her friends at the Everfree Forest was because Applejack felt like they can’t risk losing another princess and Twilight needs to lead the other ponies during that harsh time. And the only reason she turned back to the forest after Discord goads her was because she realized she was putting herself above the others and that she was the only one who knew what to do when they reach the Tree of Harmony.

“Although Spike and Rainbow Dash were known to have told her she’s unrelatable ’cause you do everything perfect’ in S4.”

Spike is understandable because he looks up to Twilight, and Rainbow Dash most likely because Twilight has her new princess status. But like Twilight said in “Equestria Games”, she really isn’t, and she has let others down in the past. Or did we forget about the previous episodes before that one episode? Hmm…
