“Now hang on just one second!” Thunderlane said, irritation clearly present in his voice. “Flitter I nev-“
 
“Since you’re in charge of picking who gets to be on the team, and you always said the Cheerleaders are just as an important part of the team as players, I don’t think it would be hard for you get Cheerilee in. She’s really good Thunder. You remember her cheering for you games back when you played.”
 
“Yeah, bu-“
 
“Wait,” Diamond Tiara interrupted. “Ms. Cheerilee’s a cheerleader?!”
 
“Are you kidding?! She was one of the best! Cheer is in her name after all!” Cloud Chaser explained.
 
“I wonder what she looks like in a cheer outfit,” Diamond Tiara chuckled at the thought.
 
“Why don’t you ask Thunderlane, he used to go all dopey eyed, when she was around in it,” Flitter teased. “Hey Cloud Chaser, remember when he asked us to tell her that he thought she was hot and if she wanted to go to the movies with him.”
 
“Oh yeah,” Cloud Chaser laughed, “that was priceless!”
 
“Eww!” Rumble complained. “You think my teacher’s hot?!”
 
“Okay! First of all!” Thunderlane tried to respond.
 
“You kidding? Thunder was totally hot for teacher!” Cloud Chaser teased.
 
“Dude!” Rumble gasped, “you are so lame!”
 
“You know what?!” Thunder argued, “That was a long time ago, and she was lookin’ pretty damn fine in that cheerleader skirt!”
 
“SHE’S! MY! TEACHER!” Rumble shouted angrily.
 
“She’ ain’t my teacher,” Thunderlane shot back with a cocky grin.

Nah, Diamond and him have been a thing for awhile, but still only just started dating. It’s still a new relationship.
 
Due to issues in real life and with certain rules that got changed on FimFic, I had to regrettably put proofreading it all on hold.
 
However, the story is pretty good. The stuff with Luna and Thunder Lane, Diamond and Rumble, are some of the stronger parts of the story. It’s got a prequel story that explains why Luna had to leave Canterlot and stay in Ponyville. The prequel also explains some of the more seeming ‘out of the blue’ relationships you’ll encounter, though mainly just two or three of them.
 
Though not required to read the prequel, in my opinion to enjoy this more “romance” + “slice of life” focus sequel, it isn’t a bad read.
 
I still hope to eventually help proofread the story down the road but I’ve already got less than a month to find a new place with the house being sold.
 
Give it a read, there are a couple really nice stories worth following. Rumble and Tiara for one!
