You mean an anime with humanized versions of the characters? I’d be all for that. However, if you’re wanting an anime with the actual ponies… Considering how Japan has messed up the original series (not dubbing major songs, cutting out scenes to make room for admittedly catchy OP/ED’s and annoying live-action segments), I’d rather keep them away from handling talking animals. The voice acting would be phenomenal though.

I was thinking something along the lines of a mix between Konata (Lucky Star) and Tomoko (Watamote).
 
And yes, Frogster, an anime based on MLP would be amazing. Though, given how much creative output this fandom has, I’m surprised no one has produced an anime-style episode or even short yet.

I’d give anything to see an official anime based on Friendship is magic.
