(I’m well aware that the Mythbusters actually know how to science properly, this is just a joke.

Mixing caesium and rubidium together will create an alloy. Get the proportions right, and the alloy will actually be a liquid at room temperature. Mixing between 10% and 80% rubidium by weight will produce an alloy with a melting point close to or below room temperature, with the lowest melting point achieved with 47% rubidium content (melting at 49.5 degrees Fahrenheit). It would be like an extra-dangerous version of mercury, reacting violently with water.

Its fine,do be careful next time. I’m glad you’re knowledgeable, but arrogance nets no friends. If I flipped a shit at every intellectual flummox I’ve wandered into every person on this site would want me dead.

Doesn’t mean you have to insinuate that the person is an idiot and or failed a basic class. Think about wording before you jump the gun mate.

Well, usually saying something reacts poorly in a chemistry setting means it has the same reaction as rocks in water.

Dear goddess….for the love of fuck was it really my wording that was being questioned. I know it explodes. I used the word “poorly” as in it would be a poor situation to get into.

Btw, while that Brainiac footage is probably faked (like Top Gear), the basic information it gives you is true (like Top Gear!). They just try to make things more exciting (LIKE TOP GEAR!)
