Yeah, so I get a li’l tired of fans always saying Twilight is the “Mary-Su,” or that she’s “the only one getting development,” or the “only one getting episodes/focus” in the show, and such, when it isn’t true.  
(Heck, one guy complained to me thinking Twilight didn’t get enough focus this season, and felt her new “princess” status was largely ignored.)
 
Even the CMC are subtle-y getting character-development. You notice this season they don’t get as easily phased by Tiara’s calling them “blank-flanks?” They seemed a li’l less cutie-mark obsessed this season to.  
Not to mention, they seem gradually growing up, like Applebloom being “big enough to be left home-alone,” Sweetie Belle finally learning magic/levitation, and Scootaloo’s flight issues were finally addressed. (She also managed to get off the ground quite high at one point in “For Whom the Sweetie Belle Toils.” So maybe she’s not a “cripple” after all.)
 
Also, Sweetie Belle likes showtunes. ;)

Well, actually it’s been implied they’re just as famous as she is, (even get imortalized on stained glass windows, and such) and their goals aren’t exactly becoming princesses to, or become Celestia’s understudy like Twilight was, so who’s to say they aren’t reaching said personal goals? Rarity won some fashion thing in S4, and Pinkie was shown to be quite beloved in Ponyville in “Pinkie Pride,” and Applejack seems content just living on the farm, and such.

Well think and like what you will. A lot to the other background characters seem to be more inspired to Twilights work who still gets more of the rewards than her friends while the others have yet (if they ever will) to achieve their goals. And that’s probably how it’s going to stay as.

I hate to say it, but Twilight pretty much always was the main character of the show sense the first episode really. I don’t mind it to much, as long as the others still get their own episodes, and moments, which they do, I feel.
 
As for the Tirek thing, you’re forgetting Tirek had absorbed enough magic power from so many ponies that he, and Twilight were pretty much “equal” in power at that point, so I don’t think Twilight could’ve taken him alone. Tirek even remarked after their li’l (epic) battle, “It appears we’re at a stand-still.” Neither could even dent the other.  
She couldn’t beat Tirek without her friend’s help actually, so they are important to. Twilight even regarded in the S3 finale she wouldn’t of gotten this far without them, and gives them equal importance as herself.

Well by ignored we meant that the other 5 didn’t get ANY reward for all their efforts unlike Twilight who became an all powerful princess with the snap of a finger. Not to mention in the Season 4 finale when Twilight had ALL the power from all three princesses to stop Tirek, she could’ve beaten him all by herself if it weren’t for her ‘stepping stones for friends’ getting easily captured and used hostage. If this part never happened she could’ve easily beaten Tirek. And she knew it too. Granted its admirable of her to save her friends by giving it up, but that still shows how much more powerful and more important Twilight has gotten compared to the others and the rest of Equestria. Heck, I think she could’ve easily stopped the evil vines from growing in the season premier if she knew how to from the beginning with just her magic. Who knows? It’s sad to admit but her so called ‘friends’ have been nothing but stepping stones for HER journey the entire series, not theirs. I always imagined the story about the group helping each other on their journeys for success in life TOGETHER. But I guess I was wrong. It’s one of those ‘one character is more important than the other main characters’ type of shows. It’s hard and sad to admit, but Twilight is, and always will be, better than everyone. Including her friends. And even if she herself doesn’t see it.

I kinda disagree with that, considering I felt the other characters all had their own episodes that season to, (Aside from Rarity) so it’s odd to say they were all “ignored” for the entire season._ Twilight didn’t really get much focus aside from the season premiere, and finale IMO. (Which they did help a li’l in both episodes to.)  
But I will admit, the other their roles were kinda diminished in the “Crystal Empire” arc making it feel more like “Twilight & Spike” episode.
 
Heck, Scootaloo was the only CMC to not get their own episode UNTIL Season 3. So I think it’s unfair for some to say all of S3 was focused on Twilight overall.

eh; while there are of course some who would dislike all of them becoming alicorns, a good chunk of those upset about twilight becoming an alicorn were upset because they felt season 3 (and the finale) were placing twilight on a pedestal and ignoring the other 5’s existence (I mean, it wasn’t until season 4 that the other 5 being relevant to stopping the villains occured again).

I think at least a majority of the fandom would at least appreciate that the other 5 would be recognized for their work but again they’re one goal is to glorify one character so luckily for the rest of the fandom that’s unlikely to happen anyway.

I’m pretty sure alot of fans wouldn’t like all of them to become alicorns… Some were angry enough over Twilight becoming one. Not to mention the mini-drama over the bootleg alicorn toys being mistaken for real ones.

Highly doubt it. They’re too focused on making one character the most superior of them all. I wish this happened and I’m sure a lot of others do. But I don’t see it ever happening.
