Some people like comic Luna. I’m one of them. You should accept and get over it rather than trying to proclaim from on high what elements of MLP should and should not exist.

She’s not even an asshole. She’s boisterous and actively mischievous at worst. Which serves as a foil to Celestia’s personality. Which is cool, because they are opposites in terms of what they represent. The beast hunting thing comes from one of the comics. Which you probably didn’t read because it had Luna in it. And I agree that IDW’s Luna is superior to the show Luna because of the character development and interest in romance, seen in comic #10 with Mac. In my opinion, you are incorrect, sir.

IDW Luna is a selfish asshole that doesn’t give a fuck about anyone else but her sorry ass that Cook and Price always depict her as the innocent angelic victim because they are massive Lunafags . Well, too bad that Luna does exist. And even if you don’t consider it canon, other people do. That still doesn’t excuse FlutterMac of being a bad ship though.
I don’t consider the comics canon and IDW Luna is a bloody mess of a character that shouldn’t even exist.
At least LunaMac has some standing ground in the comics. In the show and in the comics, Fluttermac has never been touched. Just because they’re in the same shot or in the same room in the show or in the comics doesn’t give them a reason to be a couple. Just because they’re both quiet or have similar personalities doesn’t make them a good match. It’s just stupid.
