i know that most people have a high(?) Suspension of disbelief when it come to poni, and therefore dont even think about it. but yeah, i dont, so it kinda irks me sometimes.
 
also, forgot to do this, because aparently i come off as an asshole if i dont:

and i didnt didnt realy had in mind the inttention or the “why” behind it, just the product of it. so yeah, my bad here.  
i guess if it is an experimental thing it doesnt feels as tacky.
 
and i already checked your artist tag, decent stuff.  
-good enstablished anatomy for both serious and comical purposes  
-good simple painting/shading style (it is a bit too 90’s furry-art for me but whatever)  
-coloring could take some desaturation but its not that big of an issue  
-lineart looks very clean, but it goes umnoticed whit the shading and coloring taking so much attention, it honestly feels like wasted efort as you need to zoom in to even notice them  
im not trying to be a wiseass here, i just love to rant about this stuff.
 
also, the coy and “booping” parts of the animation here its what made it feel so danm tacky to me, its horribly OOC and feels like forced cute. but whatever, i’ll let you portray moon horse however you see fit.

I am sorry that you can only see this as “tacky”, and not done out of both respect and fondness for the character, requests made by people who commented on my previous, first emofuri piece, and the wish to complete my knowledge of the software. Please, I beg you to take a look at the rest of my work, as that may be enough to convince you that I’m not one to simply do pieces as “upvote bait”, as you state.

Yes, the emofuri software doesn’t really support that kind of animation, unfortunately. My options were very limited in that regard.

I tend to make a distinctions between show staff and Hasbro.  
When ever some one say’s Hasbro my mind automatically goes to nondescript men in suits from Legal, and the idea that they might lurk among us is disconcerting.
