$50 is pretty much the minimum for well drawn colored pictures, and is absolutely peanuts compared to what professional illustrators charge. For most artists, its barely over minimum wage for how much time they put in on drawing and coloring it, not to mention the years/decades they put in honing their art skills.

I’m still baffled by the fact that you seem to assume that they’re somehow ruining something that wouldn’t exist otherwise. This is not throwing red and black paint on a mink coat. This is paying someone to make you a red and black faux-mink coat.

@Keith Mowz Pay for real mlp art then. I can’t believe people would pay money to ruin good pony art with ugly fursonas. Desperate and narcissistic if you ask me.
 
Black and red oc with an edg tattoo. A white… what this abomination is oc with extra limbs, no just no. Like what @SeraphimDawn said, they break every single rule in our books in making good ocs.

Because if they’re going to drop $50+ on a picture, they want to be involved in the end product. And that’s fine, they’re paying for it, it wouldn’t exist at all if they didn’t. The issue is that some people have crappy looking OCs.

I’m sorry furry community, but I just can’t. Sure, originality when designing a fursona/oc is a must. Yet this is just god damn ridiculous. Shoulder lampposts techno extensions…what?

Certain Furries, not all. Though, I do get disappointed that some, who make masterful pieces of Pony R34, only to “ruin” them by inserting a random out of place Furball into the art. But hey, it’s their art. They do whatever they want.

We Pony fans have made certain ‘strict’ guidelines on what not to do when making OCs. Yet, Furries often seem to break every one of those rules when they make thier OCs.

I thought I recognized those goofy-ass shoulder things.
