So I don’t think I’m doing any more edits for a while. I found out someone else got given the credit for coming up with this, and I’m kinda butthurt about that.
@Zahnrad
Hell, I had the exact same reaction. Then I found out the circumstances behind it all and was like “yeah, none of that was intentional” and felt kind of guilty for overreacting afterwards. The artist who got given credit for it actually played no part in it whatsoever, it was someone else who credited him, and it was all one big misunderstanding.
Hell, the artist who got given the credit was even more ticked off than me, because the guy who gave the credit (Ponythroat) referred to his stuff as “vector edits”. He was kind of insulted, since he draws his stuff from scratch. I’m kind of miffed at Ponythroat too, still, since people apparently did point out to him that he miscredited it and he was just sort of “meh, who cares” and didn’t even bother to correct it. That’s kind of a dick move. It sucks when artists do that; they’re the ones who know how much it sucks to not get any credit for something.
At this point, though, I really don’t care anymore. It’s not the kind of thing that’s worth getting pissed off about. My butt no longer hurts, so to speak.
@Keith Mowz
I’m still mulling it over, and if I did I’d still upload all my stuff here too (I don’t trust Tumblr to not delete my blog).
@DanielTepesKraus
I think tumblr is over-run with crap and stuff but I still have one. :V But since I post all my stuff to FA, I don’t feel the need to use it as a place to put my drawings.
@Zahnrad
I’ve actually been kind of tossing the idea of starting a Tumblr to show off my edits, too, since said artist actually pointed out that a lot of my edits have been spread around to begin with and stuff like that’ll just happen if I’m only posting to an image archive like this.
And after all the rotten things I’ve said about Tumblr, and all the times I’ve said I’d never use it, well, please leave your obligatory hypocrisy comments in the allotted space (Use a spare sheet of paper if necessary.)

@Zahnrad
To be totally and 100% honest I know without a doubt it wasn’t intentional, and I definitely know the artist who got given the credit had nothing to do with it (I actually know the guy IRL).
It’s just one of those things that happened, and I kind of got the short end of things, and what’s done is done. Like I already said, it’s not like I rage quit or ‘left the fandom’ or any dumb crap like that, it just sucked all the fun out of doing edits.
(I’ll end up doing them again sooner or later anyways.)
@Crunch Nugget
I’d buy that, except someone already pointed it out on Ponythroat’s page like, almost two weeks back and he acknowledged it but never bothered to actually change the description. When an artist does that, well, it hurts.
I don’t know, I know I’m being a whiny little bitch about it, but it still sucks, you know? It’s not like I’m all “I’m not getting credit, well I’ll stop doing edits! How does that feel?!” All the fun of doing these edits are seeing the reactions from people and being known as that guy who does bizarre edits. If I’m not getting that, well, it’s just not fun for me anymore. I know they’re just edits, but I still put a good amount of effort into them to make them as seamless as possible.
Well this is odd. I find tatzljack strangely adorable, but those baby pony designs still weird me out. Somehow I almost feel like I’ve got something backwards.
It’s possible that miscredits might be because your first Tatzljack pictures had an episode-spoiler tag on them, while Badumsquish’s didn’t. I told someone about Tatzljack in an art stream a few weeks ago, and when I watched her go to the page, yours was filtered out, while Badumsquish’s wasn’t. Coincidence?
That’s much obliged, mate.
I still make sure to credit you every time, DT-kun. ‘^’

I’d probabily do it given the chance, also sorry then if that was rude of me.

Oh well, that’s the internet, right?
