I am sorry… Yes I use strong words and it is uncalled for but I’m frustrated as a fan of a character that can’t seem to get any love. And I say again, the way they push Celestia keeps getting pushed out of the picture, (regardless of how much she’s not the “show’s focus”) all so that twilight can get another superpower, is the only real complaint I have with the show.
 
And Faust’s plans for twilight “succeeding” Celestia sounded really depressing.
 
Please Don’t think that I hold her up as some sort of saint who can do no wrong and that the show is doomed without her.
 
I think the show is good and can be great. I still like the show.
 
But… Like I said… I’ve said my piece and I shall say no more about this. I hate griping like this. I’d much rather be enjoying ponies, but I’m also voicing a frustration.
 
I’ll just see how the finale goes. Again I do apologize, but I won’t blame you if you don’t accept my apology.

The reason you “aren’t welcome” in the fandom is because all you fucking do is piss and moan.
 
And don’t even try to pretend you wouldn’t be throwing a tantrum whether they gave Twilight screentime or not, because that’s pretty obviously the case.

To all the guys out there who think that this animation from the Hub Network preview, shows that the show might be going in a different direction with the loss of three of the four Alicorns of the Royal Family: SHUT UP!!
 
The fandom will go ballistic if we never see Celestia, Luna, or Cadence, again. Twilight WILL save them, the villain is the one who gets axed, and Equestria will still have its immortal sovereigns for centuries to come, and Twilight her sister-in-law for that long as well.

Haha, he hit my biggest gripe dead on.
 
That episode was just awful, and slathering Derps all over it did absolutely nothing to cover the atrocious writing. I’m not even a fan of Dash, but the freakin’ writers can certainly treat her better than that.

I guess my whole position has been stated… I’ve said my piece and now I’ll just wait to see what happens.

Discord, nor anyone else, were shoehorned. Nor was there any pandering. {I hear the same thing for Magic Duel…What? Do people hate recurring characters?}
 
And Twilight’s been…alright this season. I think the reason you may think of her as more bland is because the writers were shoehorning the main six into every single episode. {The most notable case was Rainbow Falls…Do you remember how the characters just pop up out of nowhere in the train compartment and how most of them add nothing really at all to the plot? I do.} (Season 1 kind of had this problem as they shoehorned Twilight into each and every episode, but it wasn’t as bad back then because it was just one character.}
 
This season has hurt a lot of characters as they forced them into episodes they don’t need to be in. {Pinkie’s had the worst instances this season. She’s had good episodes and appearances, but sometimes it’s like the writers forgot how to construct her character.}
 
Still, I’ve enjoyed this season for the most part.

And it’s doubly annoying when you look at it from my perspective and its almost as if I’m not allowed to complain, no matter how alienated I feel.
 
And no matter how many other “secondary characters” like discord get shoehorned into and episode and get a positive portrayal the excuse I hear for Celestia is “she’s not the focus of the show” which is about the worst kind of BS double standard I’ve ever heard.
 
It’s almost as if I’m not welcome in the fandom.

Well I don’t take her seriously.
 
Like I said Twi’s not a hero anymore, she’s barely a character, she’s become some deus ex machina that I’m supposed to root for when she gets yet another ridiculous power up.
 
That’s annoying.
 
And the reason I’m feeling angry at the writers is this… You have a character that has been constantly shit on except  
Oddly enough in the s3 finale (I wasn’t expecting a song. A genuine Thanks to MA Larson) and all the hype of “ambitions” and “new direction” only for it to be the same old annoying formula used over and over again, only she’s been snubbed this entire season, meanwhile the rest of the season has been rife with pandering to other more popular facets of the fandom.
 
That’s another huge gripe I have.
