Not random letters, but letters that are adjacent to the correct ones on a QWERTY-style keyboard. Almost as if somepony were typing with a big, clumsy hoof instead of using a stylus…
Thus H E Y becomes JHN ER YU in the first line, and so on. You could go through the entire thing and divide each word up into groups of letters that are located around the intended one.
ex: hcievulfildo, h ci e vu l fi l d o
Which is even better because now we can decipher it

I got a majority of it, the code is that the words are hidden in the gibberish by having random letters places in between the words letters ex: hcievulfildo, h ci e vu l fi l d o
