Admittedly, there’s little actual interaction between the two. The evidence for it was that Twilight had a crush on the human!Flash, so if Flash is anything like his counterpart, it’s logical to assume Twilight might do the same for this one. Most shippers address this in some fashion, usually by having Twilight initiating something based on that crush but growing to like pony!Flash himself.
 
What? It’s not like there are other popular ships that have little basis in canon.

So far, the only interactions between pony!Dreamy Cutebottom and Twilight Sparkle have been her literally bumping into him twice. Why would he be flirting with her as a result?

Yeah, I personally want them to focus on more world building; particularly by showing more towns and other unique locations in Equestria.

Musing on this a bit more, it’s alright to have an opinion or disagree with anything, I’d just prefer folks be civil about it. My main issue is when people think it’s alright to abuse fellow fans/show staff because they disagree with something. No, that’s not ever alright.
 
I just want to add that I’m differentiating strong opinion with strong reaction. One can have strong opinion, but temper their reaction. There’s no reason not be civil.
 
Musing more on that, I sometimes take topics I disagree with and try to have fun with them. I’ll take something negative and have a little fun with it. My own personal take on it is to laugh a little about it, and then move on. I personally think it’s unhealthy to dwell on negative things.
 
(Also, this is why it’s important to not take anything or anyone too seriously. It’s possible to take something someone meant as humorous and take it as an insult. It may have only meant to be something light-hearted.)

All very good points. I agree that a romance subplot wouldn’t be a good idea for the show, due to a combination of the work needed to do justice to such a subplot and the risk of it going very, very wrong. I would be supportive if the writers are willing to put in the effort to do a romance subplot properly, but would rather they put the effort towards other avenues of character and world building that have better chance of interesting pay off for the amount of effort put in. In other words, more cost effective options! :D

Man! That scene totally ruined the episode- nay. The SHOW! I have lost all faith in the writers, animators and Hasbro in general. Because of this, I have done a complete re-evaluation of my life and things aren’t looking too good to say the least.

I flipflop between Twixie and Twilestia as my fave for our nerdiest princess. And no, I haven’t really been around for any adventures in the comments, because like I said earlier, I don’t take things as seriously as many other fans do. So, I tend to stay away from comment sections.

Flash is pretty much the worst pairing Twilight has. No chemistry, because no personality. Only like what…5 minutes of interaction. Flash really is Dreamy McCutebottom
