I have no problem with Earth ponys, Crystal type included. It is just that seeing a Crystal Pegasus, possibly even a native Crystal Pegasus was so rare that I got excited about it. I mean, (Fanon) in the Fan-fic “Nyx’s Family”, native Crystal Pegasi and Crystal Unicorns were known to show up in Crystal Earth Pony family trees. I am sure in canon there are bound to be Crystal Pegasi and Unicorns bound in stasis like the Crystal Earth Ponies due to Sombra’s Curse. They just took a while to defrost.

Well, theoretically, there could have been enchantments placed into Crystal guard pony armor that make the wielder have the crystal coat type. But, if that is true, why does Flash not have the same enchantment? He is a standard Equestrian guard pony put on Crystal Pony duty without the de-intimidation saftey measure. Would he probably get the same enchantment put into his Equestrian guard armor? * Therefore, the Pegasus could be a native Crystal Pegasus pony.

Everyone is griping about Flash “Waifu Stealer” Sentry, and no one is seeing the possible native Crystal Pegasus. We have only seen native Crystal Earth Ponies so far. So seeing a possible native Crystal Pegasus is pretty exciting.

Some people liked EG, some people didn’t, that’s the way it is. I didn’t like it (not so much for contents the movie itself, but for the whole situation), and I want to just move on from it, so the ‘wound’ for me is mostly just frustration, and uncertainty about where the whole EG thing is headed next. I had thought the crew had moved on from the movie, so the fact that the visual department/Jayson/whoever had to put a reference in there is a little frustrating, yes. That’s just my thoughts though, doesn’t mean you have to share them.
