Did anyone notice that, while Rarity is getting a massage from what appears to be a stallion, Fluttershy went with Lotus?
 
Just an observation. I’m sure it doesn’t mean anything.

The whole spa scene at the start of this episode was intended to set up Fluttershy and Rarity’s contrasting personalities. Fluttershy is not very fond of physical contact or attention, so she opts for the minimal amount of “treatment”. Rarity, on the other hoof, loves getting physical and being pampered, so she goes all out with the “treatment”.

The masseuse pony was identified as female in the game and I just realized that she has eyelashes. Bigger ones than Mistress Harshwhinny, in fact.
 
So that’s either a mare, or a stallion that has very large eyelashes.
