Pegasi have it easy. They can trim their center of mass by extending or retracting their neck. Humans have to do silly things with their limbs in order to trim their center of mass.

No, they’re not. The wings are in the exactly correct spot.
 
So many people get that wrong, but in wing powered flight, you want your center of gravity to be in roughly the same spot as your center of lift. Most birds have their center of gravity in line with their shoulders. I applaud the artist for getting that right.
