The fandom is not a hive-mind. There are lots of good people, and yes, there will be the occasional lunatic out there. Really, though, that’s actually just a general humanity problem. There’s no test anyone takes when they “join” the fandom, other than a person deciding for themselves that they are a fan.
 
With any dating site, the general rule is to be skeptical first, and don’t freely give your information to anyone until they have earned your trust over time, brony or not.

Agreed. The fandom has really gone bad.

I sure as hell don’t want to give my personal details publicly to other bronies in the internet. No offense towards anyone personally but during past few months this fandom has shown multiple times that it contains some of the most hostile scum on the internet. Not to mention that every troll is going to use this site to fish information on bronies they happen to hate that day.

Every social security and CC number you enter gets you one step closer to true love.
