Actually it did originally start with an argument about the source. I’m not sure why the conversation shifted to talking exclusively about tagging.

I’m not in this thing but I can see they are talking of tags.
some of us have specific tags hidden because there is shi- I mean, content we dont want to see. When someone doesnt tag their shi- I mean, content we still end up seeing it, something we went out of our way to make an effort to not view.
sure, there is no need to be excessively aggressive over it, but it seems reasonable that some people get upset.
I don’t so much care about tagging, as I care too much about other people caring too much about tagging. You’re right though, I’m wasting my time arguing about something very silly. Goodnight!

All this from me making a comment on how OP missed how blatantly obvious the artist name is on the source page…
but if no one is obligated, as I would assume you said, then the problem isnt going to fix itself anyways. Sure, I could step up and fix it myself but I’m not obligated to fix your stuff and the problem is still there so I will complain about it.
Complaining about the tags being wrong won’t magically fix them. Like it or not, nobody is going to go around putting a gun to people’s heads and demanding that they tag stuff properly. In fact, being hostile to people who put some effort in (but not enough to satisfy you) is probably very counterproductive.
then enjoy bitchy comments complaining about tags/sources not being done properly. The problem now wont go away if no one has to do anything.

Well as he uploaded it and then came back and fixed the source it’s funny he can’t see something that is easy to find, even more so when he was the one to put ‘artist needed’.
Nobody is obligated to fix tags or source. You should be grateful that someone does one, rather than complain that they didn’t do both.
