Everyone has some kind of filter on, even if it’s the “Everything” filter. You can see your current filter in the top right of every page, near your account link.

Going off of tag changes it may have been a picture that was deleted? I’m not sure :D
yeah i saw that one. :p and then the site maybe went 3 days without a new one. Perhaps the people that do it were on vacation at the time. :o
Uh, I actually don’t know, either I wasn’t looking at derpi at that time or it was hidden for me too, and the featured image tag contains pictures from varying months, so it would be hard to look for an exact featured image :P We can always ask mods!
Edit: I think it may have been this one? Based on “tag changes”. But I’m not 100% sure

If you use custom filters, that may be why you weren’t seeing any featured pictures if they have tags that you have hidden
