Ice King is an old man whose body has partially withered with age, Ice Queen is a fictional character written by Ice King so she looks like whatever Ice King wants (and is originally a water nymph, though I’m not sure if that impacts their height at all).
This seems to describe a lot of pop culture criticism on the ’net, yes.
I base that on that I haven’t seen it.
And I only watch things that I like.
Therefore, Adventure Time suuuuucks!

I never really liked Adventure Time, but I can see why it can be good to others (the fantasy worlds and characters that are interesting to know about, or perhaps the fanservice for some.)
Also, I’ve listened to two of the songs, “The Fry Song”, “I’m Just Your Problem” and “My Best Friends in the World” and they’re pretty good. Maybe some people like it for that as well.
