You’re missing a detail: only Twilight Sparkle is her true self in human(ish) form in Equestria Girls. The others are counterparts.
If there’s even going to be a S5. I wouldn’t be suprised if Equestria Girls season 1 is after S4.

Flim and Flam I can take or leave, I have hella issues with AJ episodes, because she is more than just her family. But Blueblood I would like to see in a villainous role, foppish, a stooge to a greater villain. Heck, Sombra’s horn could come in there, he could be a vassal for his power
And Don’t forget about Flim and Flam and Prince Blueblood. They also need to return
Truth, Sombra was an awesome villain. The Amulet was pretty much your standard magic macguffin, I would like to have seen it play a bigger part, potentially upon Twilight, but that is unlikely.
Season 4 better bloody have some Gilda in it, otherwise, I shall be Irked.
What about Sombras Horn and The Alicorn Amulet?
Someone else who’s unsure of (or who downright dislikes) RD becoming Scootaloo’s mentor/sister? I thought I was the only one with mixed feelings about it.
