The internet is rife with morons. Every fandom has their prominent vocal shitheads. Ours are no different from anyone else’s.
 
Just something you have to live with on the internet. Anonymity is one of the worst inventions of the modern age, but it’s not something that will go away.

Considering some people in the fandom sent death threats over complaints about Derpy’s scene, it’s conceivable that some would also send death threats over what they perceive to be the end of MLP:FiM as we know it; still, I’d want to see some sort of documentation of those threats before believing it myself.
 
Otherwise, I agree that going from “The trailer and promo materials make this look bad” to “This is the worst thing ever, it’s threatening MLP:FiM, and anyone who doesn’t agree with me is an idiot or a Hasdrone” is unjustified and counterproductive.
