I dunno Nyx’s story either, but from what I heard, she’s like, Nightmare Moon reincarnated as a little filly or something and then Twilight adopts her.
But considering how Cadance is Celestia’s and Luna’s adoptive niece and Twilight’s sister-in-law, there’d be no blood relation between Flurry and Nyx.

I didn’t read or knew her story, that’s why I was wondering if they were related. But I’m sure Flurry has enough annoyance with only her mom at the moment ;p
