The battle against the infected raged endlessly across every corner of Equestria. Ferocious clashes shook the ground, and magic alone seemed insufficient to curb the onslaught of the corrupted creatures. With each wave of foes, hope grew dimmer. Amidst the shadows and chaos, a familiar, fearsome figure emerged from the depths: King Sombra, accompanied by an army of infected soldiers. Twilight Sparkle, who had once defeated him, was left speechless by the sight before her.

Tension filled the air. Twilight felt the weight of responsibility but also fear as she saw how her old adversary, once cunning and calculating, now acted like a mindless beast, driven only by insatiable rage. Something had changed in him; he was no longer the King Sombra she remembered.

Twilight, too, had changed. She was no longer the inexperienced pony of her earlier battles. Her wisdom and deep connection to the magic of friendship were now her greatest strengths. Though overwhelmed and unable to aid her friends on other fronts of the battle, Twilight knew she had to stand firm. With each breath, she felt the responsibility to contain this abomination and its army, as she searched for a way to restore peace to her homeland.
