Look now.
Mostly because nobody’d take him up on it from what I understand, at least to the standards he demands. He’s always wanted it to be animated, but some studios wanted what was basically a live-action remake of the first few episodes. ‘Hotel Transylvania’ was probably his single biggest stepping-stone to it actually getting made, like he claims it finally is. Here’s hoping…
Technically, it was always suppose to end in a movie by Genndy admissions, but the movie has been in development hell since… the fact that the movie was supposed to end the series was decided.
Wait, were we really waiting? I kinda just assumed it, y’know, ended. I really can’t think of any toons from the Cartoon-Cartoon era that got a proper send-off by way of a series finale. Courage, Johnny Bravo, and Dexter’s Lab didn’t (though I’d have loved to see ‘Rude Removal’ when I was younger). I wasn’t even surprised that Samurai Jack never defeated Aku, since the entire series had the biggest ‘The Story Continues’ vibe I’d ever felt outside Pokemon.
I admire your fortitude, as I could never get into Fosters (beer; lol just kidding), even though it was advertised as “From the creators of the Powerpuff Girls” (A show I quite enjoyed when I was younger)
Dont be such a dickhead.
So it’s essentially the same thing?
Well I don’t think it’s a very unique idea and it probably is going to become stale after a few seasons.
I’ve seen every McCracken cartoon and they all went out with whimpers in my opinion. It was especially fun waiting five years for a PPG series finale.
So yeah, still not seeing any difference. (BTW, I’m one of those willing to give EqG a chance, despite my skepticism.)
Exactly. Itsthinking, practice what you preach, and people will take you seriously.
I’m just saying that I’ve seen what shows worked on by McCracken/Faust turn into; they have two or three really strong seasons with great writing, then the fourth season airs and you wonder what the hell happened.
EqG, darnit. =P

>The Star Wars prequels
And this is different from judging EqD before it comes out, how?
@gg666
That’s the kind of attitude that ENSURES nothing gets done.
I’m sorry, I can’t stand “lol ecksdee WACKY” shows. Foster’s Home started sucking (well, permanently at least) in their later seasons once they made Cheese a recurring character. At least Euro Trish and Bendy were only in one episode each, damn.
still wishful thinking at best
@Itsthinking
calling the show shitty is still uncalled for
Read carefully, it’s a web show, for internet
