To be honest, I don’t really see anyone who’s “Pro-E.G.” or acting like it’s going to be “awesome no matter what.”
Most people either act “neutral,” like “Eh, it might be good, you never know, I might give it a shot, but I don’t have high hopes.” while the others go, “It’s an ABOMINATION! It must burn! Down with Meghan MacCarthy! Graaaagghhh!!!”
Personally, I’m in the “neutral” crowd. I don’t think it looks “great,” but I don’t think it looks “blasphemous” either.
Also, personally, I kinda prefered the winged/horn/tail designs.

That’s their super forms, when they go to fight the final boss once they collect all 6 ellements of harmony hidden in the ice world, lava world, forest world, and such.
Yeah, they hinted at the fact that there would be some sort of “super saiyan” type transformation. Which probably explains why all the Hasbro vectors have wings and face-cutie-marks.
I think it’s to make their legs/feet seem more like hooves.
Also, the CMC are in the background to.
