Oh God I wish so. Or at least a Luna/Celestia episode with Luna deciding they’re old enough to call themselves “Queen” and Celestia telling her of a time when she did so, only to be alienated by their subjects even more out of their respect to her and feel those 1000 years of living crushing her.

I don’t think Celestia and Luna can be defined with a simple phrase like “Lich.” We used to call them Alicorns, but then Cadence came and proved not all Alicorns are created equal. The approximation that makes the most sense to me is “Time Lord”, but they also have the combined powers and connection to nature shtick as the Avatar.

Or, Starswirl the bearded created her and her sister using jellyfish as an attempt to achieve immortality. Or, they’re really Homonculi.

She very well could be immortal, but through much different means. Maybe she’s a surprisingly well-groomed lich?

If we were to give you your own episode, then half your fans would hate you and wish to see you dead. We can’t have that now can we?

No. Its not confirmed, people just think she is. But she has remained young and lived a long time makes people think she is. Like what people thought that elves were immortal when really the lived for 300+ years.

They could make one where she’s basically going about her daily routine of being both the ruler of a nation and one of it’s best pranksters.

Has it ever been confirmed that Celestia is immortal? The fact that she has lived for (possibly far) over 1000 years while still looking young is strong evidence that she is, at a minimum, effectively ageless, but I haven’t seen anything that explicitly states or proves that she is truly immortal.

They could still do an episode that is dark and sad, yet still optimistic and happy at the end. God knows all the fridge horror stuffed into A Canterlot Wedding. Why not step it up?
 
The bitch has been around for three seasons, it’s about time she got her due.

Now, if we are being fair, an episode that examines Celestia in a serious light and not with light hearted comedy (which would just be a waste in my opinion) would probably be super fucking dark, considering she has to handle the very real and probably very dirty aspects of running Equestria, as well as the emotional torment that accompanies immortality.
 
However, if we are also being fair, unless this character gets some kind of importence placed on them, she’ll probably fade into the backround.
