I’ve read a lot of fanfictions, and some of them depict Celestia’s bath. Each more opulent than the previous.  
Then this comic comes and tops them all.  
By the way, who you think is the owner of the Royal Quacky? Celestia or Luna?

Also, I find it amusing that Celestia has a rubber ducky.

I guess the princess is like me- I can’t stand silence when I’m bathing. The sound of running water is soothing, quiet just makes me nervous.

You know communal bathing makes perfect sense in pony socity. the ponieville spa might actully be the towns bathhouse with most ponies going there to bath instead of holding a private bathing faility in their home. We know that most of their technoligy is aroundt the level of 17-19 century level. They have no nudity taboo and no reson to see bathing as private. And even in most human socities communal bathing was the norm untill flawing water to every house became common. I think that this is now head channon for me.

Mmmm… The bath kind of makes sense when you take into account the difficulties ponies may have in bathing or showering in a manner we would consider normal.
 
This bath looks more like it’s set up like a waterfalls plunge pool - taking advantage of the water currents such things have, letting you soak and have the water do the washing action - convenient for earth ponies and pegasi, who might not be able to easily reach around to scrub themselves (especially not if you’re trying to relax in the bath). And then the water escapes somewhere to drain away.
 
I doubt other ponies would have anything this impressive, but the basic idea of falling water, a plunge pool, and a drain seem like they could be common enough.
 
That, or, y’know, bathe with someone willing to help you wash up I guess (which could imply the communal bathing is more acceptable to ponies… hm.)
