The creator might be able to drop in onto a fading to black gradient in photoshop extending out both directions in order to widen it while also maintaining the asymmetrical proportions that make it so good.
Making her 16:9 AND full-body would require painting in more background to pad out the sides. Would likely also distort the geometric composition.
