You’re still missing my point. I’m saying that even if Moe suddenly appeared again with brand new art, it still would be unlikely for it to get on the DB lists. It doesn’t even really have to be Moe, he’s just the first name to come to mind for grand, epic style pony art that is neither diabeetus-inducing nor boob-filled. My use of Moe as an example was merely to highlight the limited variety of art styles that gets onto DB’s lists as opposed to the stuff that got featured on Ponibooru. And yes, I’m aware of a few controversies over what got featured on PB. The point still stands.

no, i mean all moe’s art is already posted here and is like one year old, the only way it gets pushed into the super upvotes list is if someone dupe one of them right now and stays.

That doesn’t matter, RIG. My point is that given the trends we’ve seen of the top scorers here on DB’s lists, it’d be unlikely for something like Moe’s art to show up in them even if he hadn’t disappeared.

The lists aren’t the same. Since they’re subject to the vagaries of public opinion – and considering what constitutes most of the “public” here – the top scorers are usually either cutesy stuff or boobs (or both), and are also invariably animated. An awesome artist like Moe, for example, would never make it on Derpibooru’s lists.

But yes, “Featured Image” thing was awesome.

That was a fun time when the Celestia tag was more popular then the Luna tag.

If there’s one thing from Ponibooru that I wish Derpibooru had, it’d be the Featured Image. I discovered lots of fantastic new artists that way.
