I’m suspected years ago about The Siege of the Crystal Empire. I never forget these backstory to sombra pony’s comics is maybe catch him to had tendency toward evil so he isn’t recognize it Umbrum. For example, S3 King Sombra let fear to crystal pony. and s9 discord is do clone king sombra. So I choose to agree comics is canon character radiant hope.

Sombra and Hope actually have real feelings for each other,so I don’t understand why this was created.

Well, King Sombra’s past and his relationship with Radiant Hope are canon because Hope betray Sombra, Sombra murder, overthrown Amore and Hope renounce her friendship with Sombra after discovering Sombra’s true colors. But, Siege of the Crystal Empire is not canon because season nine brought back Sombra from his demise seen in the season three premiere in a different way.
