Forget it, you may as well be arguing with a brick wall. Some people are just convinced that the antagonists (or even the outright villains) have been wronged and the Mane 6 are the actual wrongdoers of the show.

The reason is because they went into a situation without knowing what was going on. They didn’t know Rainbow had been saddled with a parody of her Season 1 self. Heck, they came to visit her when they were doing cloud-busting exercises. Busting plain old “no thunder and lightning” clouds. That’s generally safe stuff. It only got dangerous because Lighting “Leeroy Jenkins” Dust decided to convince Dash to make a tornado to clear more clouds than the others, which of course got out of hoof because its a freaking tornado.

If the Wonderbolts Flight Camp was as “military” as Seraphim said, don’t you think there would have been somepony, or someponies to stop the Mane 6 from visiting unannounced? There weren’t. Again, we’re also talking about a group of friends that together, have saved Equestria several times, one of which, is Celestia’s personal student. Even then, if there HAD been somepony, or someponies to stop them, they would have gotten in anyway because otherwise, the plot would not have progressed.

Of course, we can also attribute to the fact that there are some military elements present in this episode and others missing because it’s a freaking children’s cartoon.

Only if one were doing apologetics for ponies who clearly weren’t supposed to be there and had no business taking the package in the first place, much less doing so in an area where they are quite likely to be doing just that: dangerous and large scales demonstrations of skill and power.

If the reason is ‘because the main six are more important than you and therefore we will just forget of what they did’, that’s a terrible message, but there is no way of arguing they were somewhere they were suppose to even be close by to.

Granted, those aforementioned ponies were the rest of the six Bearers of the Elements of Harmony, the mares responsible for restoring Princess Luna to her senses, resealing Discord, assisting in the quelling of a Changeling invasion, and returned the Crystal heart to the citizens of the Crystal Empire, vaporizing the tyrannical King Sombra in the process.

Oh, and the purple one is Celestia’s personal buckin’ protege.

One could also argue that they didn’t know the adrenaline junkie was whipping up a freaking tornado for a cloud-busting exercise, when they just wanted to drop off a care package for a friend.

Who were in an area they shouldn’t have, were doing something they shouldn’t have, and in general had only themselves to blame for it.
