If you think this is my longest comment, you haven’t seen all the comments I make about Discord. Most are probably deleted by the mods though, so it’s gonna take a while for you to find one. :P
Anyway I have watched most MCU movies and shows, and also a lot of DC movies and shows as well, live action or animated. I actually love superheroes stuff very much. They’re pretty cool. :3 I never read any comic though. I mostly just watch movies and shows, but I think my knowledge is sufficient from watching those. :P

Honestly superhero landing actually works because most superheroes have something to make their knees hurt less.
Superman/Wonder Woman/Thor: Literally nothing normal can hurt them so it makes sense.
Batman: Cape acts as a parachute so he doesn’t land too hard.
Spider-man: His web strings can help him fall slower.
Iron Man: His knee is covered by his iron suit so it definitely won’t hurt him.
And Angel Dust from Deadpool’s example is strong enough to punch Colossus so it probably didn’t hurt her at all.
Coincidentally, Daredevil and Punisher don’t do superhero landing since they’re not superhumans and have no capes. The only questionable one is Captain America, but you could argue he is also strong enough to withstand the damage, and he also lands on his shield more often than his knees. So really despite what Deadpool said, superhero landing actually makes sense most of the time.

Superman isn’t exactly ‘real world’. He is just as fictitious as the characters of FiM.
Regardless, you’re right. Real world physics don’t really apply to the world of colorful ponies

When you have bones that are stronger than any Earth found material and invulnerable skin (IE Superman) then a superhero landing wouldn’t really be all that hard on your knees at all. But for an ordinary pegasus like Spitfire…yeah, it would be painful.
