They can eat both actual food for taste and love for sustenance.
I stopped reading at Kirin beer.
@TexasUberAlles
You know how the Sirens call what they do eating but still eat actual food?
yeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh~
Kirin are all over Japanese temple iconography and traditional art; “kirin” is in fact the romanization of the Japanese name for them, it’s transliterated as “qilin” in China.

Serious answer is apparently called baijiu, or jiu in general.
Gunpowder and paper.
Then… Uhh, what did the ancient Chinese invent?
Gin was invented by the Dutch.
Ah, I knew Sake was Japanese, but I didn’t know if Kirin originated from China or Japan, meanwhile I also had no idea where Gin came from other than “asia”, thank you for clarifying.
Gin. Sake is Japanese while Kirin are a Chinese myth.
Actually both are plausible, we’ve seen Chrysalis suck a pink gas out of Thorax so it’s possible they can condense it the same way pegasi can make Liquid Rainbow. And as for Kirin Beer, basically, every culture in human history has invented alcohol at some point or another, it’s extremely unlikely it’s their piss as people meme about, but I would not be surprised at all if the Kirin had some form of alcoholic beverage. Although with the fact that Kirin are an asian myth, I would be more inclined to call it “Kirin Gin” or “Kirin Sake” rather than Kirin Beer, since beer is made with wheat, hops, or rye, which are not native to asia.
cough
One is almost plausible and the other is just a bunch of brony nonsense.
Guess which one is which.
lmao
now I don’t know what to prefer: Bug love honey or Kirin beer xDDDD
