Looking at this picture, all I can think is; Damn it, Coyote! Stop giving up on yourself! You have so much potential, but you never reach it because you keep giving up on yourself! Why can’t you see that?
 
Looking at the comments, however, all I can think is; Magic is limited by the world it is in. It may require some rare, arbitrary artifact, or it could be as common as hair. Besides, transformation, teleportation, and protection are too much to believe when it has been shown that their magic can turn animals into oranges, put up shields to protect freaking Canterlot, enable ponies to see gems through walls, and, oh yeah, TELEPORT? Why can’t people agree to disagree?

If you can turn an egg cell into a sperm cell (turning a y chromosome into an x chromosome), then getting that sperm cell to the egg is just a matter of basic levitation.

Do you know why there are thousands upon thousands of sperm cells in even a single drop of semen? it’s because impregnation would be impossible otherwise. The inside of the woman’s vagina is coated with a natural germ-killing agent, protecting from infection. This has the side effect of killing off most of the sperm cells. In this situation, there is a maximum of exactly one sperm cell involved, and it doesn’t get transferred.

i have a huge interest in magic and have researched it in myth, legends, lore and history, the magic arts, game magic and written magic,  
to master magic you must master the forces that make up this would, you much control the very atoms of reality and what make up them, magic is about bending everything around your will for a purpose and then learning to control even that…  
there is other ideas on magic, as a fuel etc but this one is one of the most popular…

you seem to not understand that even magic needs it’s limitations. Magic is not the only explanation anyone ever needs. It does not solve any problem, it does not explain everything, it is not a constant Deus Ex Machina waiting to happen. Everything has a limit, even something as intangible as the concept of magic.

And yet, that would require a level of skill unattainable, and the ability to observe things on a cellular level. to use a spell on anything requires both the skill to manipulate it in that way, and the ability to observe it. Celestia and Luna may be gods, but they’re not omniscient.  
On another point relating to this that I’ve mentioned, the process of fertilization requires the transfer of genetic material, which does not occur during lesbian sex. On top of that, even if changing egg cells into sperm cells were possible, the resulting individual cell would never make it to the egg cell, seeing as the general area is spermicidal to both protect from infection and enforce natural selection.

And besides, artificial insemination doesn’t need any creating of lifeforms. If animal-to-orange is possible, eggs-to-spermatozoa shouldn’t be a problem.
