So I retconned a few characters from the El-Romverse because I wanted a little more of a variety in Next gen. age groups.
I’ve retconned Utopia Swansong and Phoenix Fireworks little sister if you’re interested

These three are known as the popular kids in Ponyville.
They’re all honour roll students with an insane amount of privilege and support from their families. Their names are Rutile Catalyst [Left], Libra Luminous [Center] as well as Kepler Joule [Right]. Despite their ages, they’re already quite famous in their community for their service and dedication.
Their various academic and humanitarian feats combined with the adoration of their families has created three powerful but conceited unicorns. They can all be a little snobby with some more so than others.

Kitty is an extremely intelligent mare who bounces between her home in Canterlot and the her school in Ponyville. Since birth, her future has been laid out for her and no deviations were acceptable. Her teachers have always been fond of her but feel like she wasn’t allowed to have much of a childhood. Her parents allowed her to have friends but controlled every aspect of her life. Academics and appearance were the most important aspects of her life. Every moment of her life was scheduled down to how many hours she was allowed to sleep in a night.
In spite of this, on the surface she seemed to flourish. However this disciplined lifestyle created a very calculating and neurotic mare in reality.
Kitty hates her family and deeply resents her parents as she now has trouble shutting off her brain and just existing without having to prove herself. A great deal of her joy comes from her relationship with her two friends Lumi and Kep. They understand each other and help each other deal with the various stresses that come with being “Prodigies”

Lumi is the king of competition and an absolute ass to his fellow peers. In his mind, everyone is a competitor and he isn’t above sabotage. As such, he’s quite a bully to those around him with some notable exceptions. His only friends Kitty and Kep are his equals and while he does love them he also likes to keep them close to keep an eye on them. Nobody can be better than him.
He’s also a bit of a dick to his little sister Phoenix as she’s the heir to his mothers Throne. He’s not competitive with Phoenix however because Phoenix doesn’t stoop to his level and only wants to be his buddy. As such, he tends to actually act as an advisor to little Phoenix and genuinely seems to want to see his little sister succeed.
That being said, Lumi is generally a very morally grey colt. He cares a lot about helping refugees and providing food for the impoverished but will also purposefully sleep with other ponies significant others. Again, he loves animals and regularly brings home strays but he also verbally bullied AJ’s eldest daughter Pristine Apple by calling her Piss-tine Asshole or Piss-baby.
For every nice thing Lumi does, there’s likely another equally terrible thing he’s also done.

Kepler Joule

Voice: Sounds like her mother Starlight but with a slightly raspy pitch

Aggressive, headstrong and nosy, Kep is a dedicated mare who isn’t afraid of a challenge.
Like her little sister, Kepler is always coming up with harebrained plans to get noticed or stand out from her peers. Unlike her little sister, she’s usually very successful and calculated.
Kep is a loopy little weirdo who’s the apple of her mother Starlight’s eye! Through Kep, Starlight gets a lot of praise for raising such a smart kid and this does get to Starlight’s head. She really pushed Kep to succeed and focusses all her energy onto the eccentric mare sometimes ignoring her wife and younger daughter in the process.
Unlike her friends, Kep has a huge and fun personality and she adores attending any and all Ponyville events. She used to attend the Sisterhoove Social with Thistle and had a lot of fun but her little sister put some distance between them. This saddens Kepler and now she actively tries to engage with Thistle when she isn’t busy.
Overall, out of the trio, Kep is the friendliest but she can unintentionally be mean spirited as she isn’t the most self-aware.
