I don’t have a foot fetish, but mostly because I’ve repressed it. Fetish is actually misused because in general it isn’t a fetish.
 
There are four proven intercultural areas of desire that men have, no matter orientation: feet, breasts (chest), ass and penis. Penis is the second strongest desire, and like I said, this is regardless of orientation. Vagina is likely in this list, but it is difficult to prove due to research methods being thwarted by words that mean vagina often also meaning ‘weak’ or simply ‘woman’ (pussy for example).
 
But I digress. There is reason for the foot obsession; or at least, there are some theories. Our desires are formulated, at least genetically, to desire fertile individuals. Feet give two indications in that area. Higher estrogen levels, which usually are present in highly fertile women, will cause the feet to stop development earlier: thus, smaller feet means more likely to produce children. Secondly, women’s feet swell during pregnancy, which is a period of time when there is no fertility. Now, the specifics can change in the individual (almost all men like breasts, but not all men like the same breasts) but the areas of concentration are fairly constant.

Well, I watched a lot of cartoons as a kid and a fair few of them showed off a good amount of barefoot females. Like DeeDee from Dexter’s Laboratory. There were a few episodes showing her feet. I guess when I was that young, I was impressionable. And it turned me into the foot lover I am today.

I gotta say, a foot fetish is one of the luckiest things you can have short of a million dollars, especially if it includes shoes. At work, all the girls are pretty, so long as I never look up too high.

How the heck did you develop a foot fetish as a kid?
 
I guess I’ve had a crossdressing fetish since I was a kid, since I liked to wear high-heels, but I wore them because I liked the sounds they made when you walked. But I don’t think back then it counted as a fetish for me.

I’ve had the fetish ever since I was a little kid so I really don’t know if it’s possible to force yourself into a fetish.
 
But I do know this. This pic makes me smile and it also makes me hot.

Forcing one, I can’t say for sure. Developing one over time and exposure to the subject of the fetish, I can safely say it’s very possible.

Foot fetish is one of if not the the most common fetish, so it can’t be that hard to “learn” it.
 
If one can learn to be aroused by colorful cartoon ponies, feet are probably quite easy.
