What I think happened is either they’ve made her trans (considering how technologically advance Zephyr heights is, there is a chance), or the creators were originally going to make Zoom a guy but Hasbro said no realising the possible gay ship but the artists couldn’t be assed to change their 3D model (because literally the only way to tell is Tyt’s eyelashes on her, the 3D models of Thunder and Zoom are nearly identical) and then indirectly made her trans to fuck with hasbros anyways.

The Russian dub isn’t the original dub, and in English, they are voiced by GM Berrow, who being a writer for the movie, would be in a better position to know what Zoom is.
