I honestly haven’t watched it since, like, Season 4 (and a little of 5). It’s just memes man, just memes.
The current day woke is different then back then, I can still see gen 4 as a regular cartoon fit for kids.
But the more modern woke cartoons seem more like a political statement pretending to be a cartoon than not.
If the product have no substance when you stripped off the woke layer, then it isn’t worth it.
FiM was produced years before the current climate became a shitshow, and i’m glad that it did or else it would of been dragged into the mess.
