Well, your and a half Derpibooru Community is the same. And the other half is not that it is very different, but that it has already passed the point of no return longer than you and I have here.
Well, don’t expect anything too different from IDW: as much as we may think about it, Sonic will not go beyond being a CHILD CHARACTER with stories that reach the public to whom you want to sell those stories (and related products), and you may realize that romantic relationships do not They rank high on the “priority list for writing scripts” by neither Sonic nor (to my knowledge) any other character in the comics they publish.
Come on, I already had to see the “My Little Pony” comics they publish and how Pinkie’s girlfriend started with Cheese Sandwich was 100% Hasbro (or that is, childishly stereotyped).
They don’t publish for an audience made up of readers like us,
the Brony Community: that’s why we do these fan arts.
Well, let’s remember that this “girlfriend” did not originally exist in what surrounded this supersonic hedgehog, Amy was only the “Disgraced Lady” in the games, until they gave her a little more independence (“Sonic X”, I think) and Free Will. The Sonic from the comics barely pays attention to her beyond being a “dear friend.”
Now, the Sonic from Fan arts and Fan fics, well … THAT’s been another story for a long time
(which SEGAhasn’t complained about so far, Thanks to Celestia).
@Cosmas-the-Explorer
I think the IDW Comics touch up on Sonic and Amy relationship quite well. They still keep her love for Sonic, but they have a way better dynamic that isn’t the usually one-sided, “Boy thinks girls are yucky” trope.
Okay, it will be another day when “everypony” is in the mood to send that disturbing vice called ”Normal” to Tartarus.
And yes, referring to the comics of the IDW (the same one of Our Ponies), it has to show us that relationship ”friends-almost-boyfriends-we-could-be-boyfriends-but-there-bad-to-defeat-so-that- we’re-still-friends. “ And yes, it may not be very comfortable (for Amy, no one will tell me that she does not dream of her wedding dress), but it is fun (as long as the Fan fics and “Rule 34” do not decide otherwise).
@Tokio Toy
No, thank you, good sir. I too like to think about these crazy romantic thoughts.
And for that note, I headcanon that in IDW comics, Sonic and Amy are friends with benefits.
And Sonic wanted to invite her along on his travels both to kick ass and then to have fun at night.
To Cosmas-the-Explorer, Sonic Fan and OneUglyDiamondDog: there is plenty of how to assume all that and more: nothing is more fun than losing your mind speculating, so feel free to launch the most crazy romances and reasons for that in something like that as “what can fit of letters or more”. We will collapse this site, but it will be for a noble cause: CONFIRM THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY CRAZY WITHOUT REMEDY IN THIS MAGICAL PLACE.
And thanks for the comments from him. I appreciate them.
All of that may be true, although I made a point of expecting anything from Amy … except singing “Happy Birthday” to her like Marilyn Monroe singing it to John F. Kennedy.
I imagine that, with Amy’s voice … and seriously, it gives chills. Poor Sonic, what a way to turn “thirty” …
Certainly, although the controller, only in the “Sonic Universe”comics and perhaps a little in “Sonic X”, although her passage through the comics revealed in her an energy and decision-making power that made her a natural leader (when they were organized to fight against that Megalomaniac EggMan from the Metal-Sonic saga, for example).
Anyway, her personality is far from “official” and it can’t be said that there is anything very solid about it really, comparing her to Amy from “Sonic Boom” and even to the endless fan fics about her and Sonic. She would say that this is the charm that Sega itself did not expect.
@sonicfan
Yeah. It’s the type of ship that requires a lot of character development before things can happen. But maybe that’s partly why I like the ship. At least I would like them to become good friends whether anything else happens.
@OneUglyDiamondDog
On anither note, I kinda see Sonic as more of the friends with benefits type of guy. Which is something Rouge would be all for. Maybe if Amy understood that she might actually be successful instead of thinking he would go steady.
Gee, I like that comment of yours. And yes, it’s a bit of that and a lot of the Old School French Cartoon style.
Thanks for your support.

And then SEGA puts a price on my head …

Sir or madam, I can assure you with all alacrity that I’ve already lost my mind.

Well, I wouldn’t say she was controlling. She just a child with a kinda unhealthy crush, but that’s it.
It’s pretty obvious that Sonic will do his own thing anyways, and we don’t really see Amy stop Sonic from doing what he want.

There are inevitable things in the twisted worlds of Fan Art and
I will only feel sad for poor little Spike … unless Rarity likes
a “ménage à trois”.
I reiterate: “Twisted Worlds of Fan Art” …
