MLP: The G4 has a “permanent” ban on humans and human-like creatures on the planet Equuis - but there is an exception that was first seen on the minosaur Iron Will in S2, episode 19 - the human torso with its shoulders and arms out to the wrists. It was thus natural to place the minotaur torso on Tirek as he as a centaur must have the same configuration as these mythological centaurs in our world. It is on the hands one will immediately see that the minotaurs and centaurs are different from humans, Tirek will have claw-like fingers while Iron Will will have blunt fingers.
 
The older Tirek after a thousand years has a horse-like head with a flat nose and a long jaw, but this is not because he has a head taken from a horse or pony. Instead, it has been seen that the head design is taken from the baboon with long muzzles and powerful jaws - confirmed several times by studying the teeth of Tirek. Younger baboons have much flatter faces, and this can be seen in the younger Tirek who was in his teens. His father, Vorak, had a beard in the mouth region which still did not hide that his jaw is protruded in comparison with his son. Since Tirek lived so long by being in Tartatus where it is not possible to die of old age, evolution was to continue until the appearance we recognize had arisen.
 
There is really little reminiscent of the human on Tirek, which was more of a cross between a human, a baboon and a horse (confirmed in S8 when it was seen that he was bigger than the ponies).

How? How are you so good at making me gay for Tirek, of all villains? Trick question, considering it’s his human half that helps with the appeal.:D But this is another sexy piece of work for our centaurian demon lord, and I hope others feel the same way, while you feel proud of this work. Because I really wish I could give this ‘taur a full-on rub down.:D Okay, i’m done being possibly weird and creepy.^^;
