Methinks Twilight Sparkle’s princess duties will be keeping her a bit too busy to visit Ponyville every week. This may be Hasbro at maintaining the dynamics of the mane 6 while phasing Princess Twilight into more of a supporting character.
@Background Pony
Fun fact apperently “Spike at Your Service” WAS going to be a Rarity Ep. However it was changed to a Apple Jack Ep. as Rarity was quiet mean to Spike in the original script. It was most likely changed due to the fact that it would harm her character.
Hence why Meghan worded it “Do u think Rarity is best pony? Have I go an episode for you!” and why the Ep. is credited with two writers.
@bboifatz
I think Spike said it best, what you are is not the same as who you are… Twilight could have become a draconequus but she’d still be the same person inside.
@bboifatz
Do you also feel that a dynamic was ruined when Dick Grayson became Nightwing rather than Robin causing him to be a solo crime fighter on a more equal level with Batman rather than a mere sidekick? Or when Fred Flintstone became a father? The series has never officially treated alicorns as a master race, in fact if Twilight becoming one is anything to go by, it’s not a race at all, merely a beneficent genetic mutation. Also She’ll probably still treat her friends as her equals and actually insist on them viewing her as theirs. Besides I’ve heard that this is just step one of six… I’ve heard that all six of the girls are supposed to be princesses by the time the show ends.
@Aharon L’anglais
The problem is, before they were all equals. No-one can argue that Twilight Sparkle is anything less than above her friends now, because she has the title of Princess and is even part of Equestria’s superior master race. She has all the elements of harmony, her friends are expected to learn from her example, and on top of that they can’t even look her in the eye without looking up to her.
The show’s cast dynamics have been changed. People who want to defend the change are saying that there is no change, but argument just plain does not work. This is like if Ted Turner suddenly decided to turn Wheeler into Captain Planet.
Ugh. I wish I didn’t have to sink to a Captain Planet reference just to make a point. :(
@TenchiFreak5
The dynamic was based on their personalities not their phenotypes. The dynamic consists of three straightman and three over the top characters.
Because Twilight being an alicorn now completely destroys the show dynamic, and unless they want to turn the show into something else they kinda have to get rid of her?
@bboifatz
Dude, it’s not like you even paid any attention to the show. Celestia, when asked by Twilight if she was still going to be her student responded, and I am quoting, “Not the same way as before.” She still has much to learn, being an alicorn does not and I repeat DOES NOT mean she can’t live amongst civilians. Remember Cadence? She started out as a foalsitter. Let me repeat that. A FOALSITTER! Also, why would Twilight suddenly leave her friends WHO SHE FLAT OUT ACKNOWLEDGED IN HER CORONATION!? Huh? Answer me that!
Does this mean Twilight will perish in grorious battle to Chrysalis as cheesy metal plays only to come back alive and well 2 seasons later? And Chrysalis will return to antagonise Equestria again as Galaxis alongside Lavan, and Sunset will have to dive inside of him and break the Element of Magic from within after thrashing Galaxis so hard she attempts to ally with Shimmer, thusly giving her the power to fire rainbow-coloured lasers through his crotch and forehead? All the while Spike delivers colour commentary like a sporting arena announcer?

Why don’t I do it instead?

Reach through your monitor and make me.
I’ll say this one more time. If you’re going to keep complaining, don’t. Watch. The show anymore.

She didn’t say she was staying either. Leaving ponyville is the next logical progression for Twilight now that she is a princess.
Spike would be a better element, Freewill!
Dude, did Celestia, at any point of the episode tell Twilight “You’re leaving Ponyville”? No. No she fucking didn’t.
Because if so I think I am down for season 4.
Okay, you know what? DON’T WATCH THE SHOW WHEN IT GOES TO ITS FOURTH SEASON!
So they will say anything to stop us from flipping out, even if it’s not true. I’m pretty sure we already knew this.
You do realize she was getting tired of people flipping out. Also, S3E13 was written November 2011.
Tara Strong denied Alicorn Twilight using The Hub’s official twitter account.
you’re an idiot
