Many pair of pony head head (glasses, headphones, etc) are designed to curl upwards near the ends. Meanwhile most human glasses curl downwards. This is due to the positioning of our ears and their location relative to our eyes.

Ponies have ears higher up therefor, their glasses must be designed to curl their ends upwards to reach the higher ears.
